Suzuki first photographed flowers indoors in the autumn of 2023. "I used to think of flowers as something fragile," he recalls — a perception his own photography would come to challenge.
Recognising in the vitality hidden within flowers a spirit that resonated with the punk rock ethos at the core of his work, he began photographing them with purpose.
This zine brings together images that capture the transient beauty and quiet presence of flowers, interwoven with fragments of snapshots and portraits made before 2023.
